Catalan soprano Èlia Farreras-Cabero was born in 1999 and studied at the “Hochschule für Musik Hanns Eisler Berlin” with Professors Martin Bruns and Britta Schwarz. She previously completed her vocal studies at Escola de Música i Conservatori de Sabadell” (Barcelona) with Elisenda Cabero, her mother.

She has received significant artistic inspiration through masterclasses with renowned singers and pedagogues such as Wolfram Rieger, Graham Johnson, Thomas Allen, Thomas Hampson, Christoph Prégardien, Thomas Quasthoff, Hedwig Fassbender, Götz Payer, and Anne Le Bozec.

Her artistic achievements have been recognized with several awards and scholarships, including a grant from the “Heidelberger Frühling Academie 2025/26” and the prize for Best Lied Interpretation at the “Girona Young Singers Competition 2025”. In 2023 she received a scholarship from the “Lied the Future”, programme of the Schubertíada and was invited as a Young Artist to the “Leeds Lieder Festival” . Since 2022 she has been a recipient of the Deutschlandstipendium.

As a concert and opera singer, she has performed in prestigious venues such as the Deutsche Oper Berlin, the Palau de la Música Catalana in Barcelona, the Konzerthaus Berlin, and the Atlàntida de Vic.
